Professor Suzanne Jill Levine reading her translation of the first "Galáxias" by Haroldo de Campos with the poet himself

This is a unique recording of three readings from Haroldo Campos' famous Joycean poem "Galáxia", made in 1978, which our colleague Suzanne Jill Levine is sharing with us. She translated the first "Galáxia" with the poet himself that year and at his request recorded her version: her reading is followed by Haroldo reading the original, and then Hector Olea's version in Spanish. The poet took the recording on tour with him to various universities in the United States and elsewhere.
